Roman Archaeology is my background and I am listed in the prestigious Rick Steves Italy guidebook. I'm excited about helping you understand a little more of my beloved city: its art, history, landscape and the mood of the Italian "provincia". I am happy to tailor unique experiences for my travelers: if you are happy, I am happy! For me being a tour guide is a way of travelling every day without moving from home! I get emotional when I taste classy wines and I am a Level 1 sommelier. I love good architecture, good music, good wines, I read many memoirs. I hope to be able to meet you very soon! I am a local guide of Verona: I do not deliver tours in Milan (only pick up). I am not a driver. My wife and I greatly enjoyed the tour and camaraderie we developed with Valeria. We did quite a bit of research before the tour and I had several e mail exchanges with Valeria. She really got a feel for what we were most interested in, covered an extensive request list and was very knowledgeable. We asked to focus primarily on history and she succeeded beyond our expectations. She also picked a great place for lunch choosing excellent wines. We highly recommend her for visitors to Verona.

I recently took this tour with Valeria, it was amazing! I have been to Verona before and have been on a tours by locals Verona tour. Valeria customized the tour so we didn't overlap places I've already explored. The trip to the winery (at the top of one of the hills in the Verona area) was amazing,both the views and the wines.
