Hello everybody, I'm Valentina and I have been working as a tour guide in Milan since 2009, leading tours in English, Spanish and Italian. I'm a true local, I was born and have always lived in Milan, the hometown of my grandparents as well - they all spoke dialect. I consider myself a lucky woman because I have a wonderful family and the smartest job in the world, the only one giving me the opportunity to make the most of what I like best: art, foreign languages and my hometown. My wish has always been that of introducing travellers to the beauties of Milan, a city too often cut down to a center of business, finance and fashion; of course it is but what else? Well Milan also means art, culture, history, traditions, a tasty Cuisine and fabulous happy hours. For sure you will enjoy the "not to be missed": the awesome Duomo, the glazed Galleria, the mighty Sforzesco Castle and the world famous La Scala theater but Milan is also the Navigli, Romantic canals flanked by picturesque cafeterias and trattorias, old trolleys driving you back to the thirties, secret courtyards and tiny squares and, why not, good shopping even out of the most stepped off streets. My city is so multifaceted that many middle-aged locals feel a clash between the traditional and the new Milan; on the contrary, I do love this contrast, because it precisely reflects the double soul of my city: Milan was a Roman major city, a leading Renaissance Duchy at the time of Leonardo Da Vinci and the most contemporary and cosmopolitan city in Italy, with the tallest "Manhattan style" towers. And what's more I think my job is an exciting occasion to welcome foreign people from all over the world and get to know their culture, way of living and points of view. Gradually in the latest years I have realized I have learnt so much by meeting so many different people and I mean especially from a human point of view. So contact me and I will be glad to show you around my beloved city in the best and friendliest possible way, tailoring your tour to your interests, needs and expectations. See you in Milan! Licensed Tour Guide since 2009 Degree in foreign languages and literatures (English and Spanish) - Catholic University of Milan C1 Advanced Cambridge English Certification DELE C1 (Advanced Spanish Certification by Instituto Cervantes) Member of GITEC (Guide Italiane Turismo e Cultura) If my calendar seems full, don’t hesitate to contact me anyway. I may still be able to accommodate you. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. Please note that I provide pick-up and drop-off at the hotel only through the driver. I will meet you directly at the designated meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone.

Let's start with the world-famous Opera House "Teatro alla Scala" where the best-known operas of some of the most appreciated composers were and are still interpreted by the best singers. We will get the opportunity to have a look at the enchanting Concert Hall from one of the boxes and then we will explore the tiny, charming Museum. Afterward, we will take a stroll to the glamorous fashion District, the "Quadrilatero" with its charming boutiques along via Montenapoleone, not forgetting historic elegant buildings, tiny, cozy squares and courtyards. We can conclude our tour by tasting a nice espresso or cappuccino together with a tasty pastry or a nice aperitivo in one of the oldest and smartest cafes in Milan.
