Overview of your Milan tour
Milan is a wonderful city! Numerous VIP have or have had a connection with this city. Some of them were born in Milan and those who were not came here in search of success and work opportunities. Who's the most illustrious among them? Leonardo da Vinci, of course! He moved from Florence to Milan at the age of 30 in 1482 and he left here his biggest painting (now under restoration) in the Sala delle Asse at the Sforza Castle. Two of his portraits are exhibited at the Ambrosiana Museum, one of the oldest and most prestigious museums in the city, together with his drawings and manuscripts from the Atlantic Code. And there is finally the world-famous Last Supper at Santa Maria delle Grazie, reservation and ticket purchase in advance mandatory. Piazza del Duomo will be our meeting and starting point We will visit and go inside Pinacoteca Ambrosiana We will walk the in the courtyards of Castello Sforzesco Also we will go inside Santa Maria delle Grazie Church and visit the Last Supper Museum if there are tickets available for the desired date and time. Please keep in mind that the church is closed from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm every day. Take this into account when choosing the starting time of your tour. Dress code in the summer: always bring a scarf or a little jacket to cover shoulders and legs going into the church, please. This tour can be customized upon request. Do not hesitate to message me.
