Hello, my name is Massimo! I was born in Lecco, on the Eastern flank of Lake Como. I have been taking guests on tours on Lake Como since 2019. My father used to work for IBM, and we lived in California and in Maryland. I was also an exchange student in Vermont. I worked for Internet startups for a while, but it was not the right job for a free spirit and an outdoors enthusiast. In the season, I take guests on tour on the Lake; in the Winter, I walk or hike when possible and marvel at the Lake from above. I live in Milan. We can meet in the city and go to Lake Como together, meeting at the train station or taking a black car. While the Lake can get busy, it's a real treat and I will always look for real and high-quality local restaurants. From the centre of town to the new financial district
Overview of your Milan tour
We will start in Piazza della Scala, taking a look at City Hall, the statue of Leonardo da Vinci and the Teatro alla Scala, La Scala Opera House (from the outside). We will then walk to the heart of Brera, visit the premises of the Brera Art Academy, Milan’s longest-standing institution of higher learning and a true citadel of the arts and sciences. From there, we will walk towards Corso Garibaldi, and perhaps stop for coffee or gelato, and then walk northwards to Porta Garibaldi, the gate where the old town ended. A short stroll on Corso Como will lead us to Piazza Gae Aulenti, the heart of the new financial district in the Porta Nuova area.
