Ciao a tutti! I am Marilena and I have been a licensed guide in Milan and its Province since 2009. I speak fluentl English and of course, Italian! A strong passion for art and beauty conquered me since I was a teenager. After my University studies, I became a museum educator in the Brera Picture Gallery and, after obtaining my Tour Guide License, I continued to accompany nice school groups around the wonderful city of Milan, which I love to talk about! I truly love walking around the city and showing both adults and children its monuments and temples, telling their stories which have made this city great. When it comes to Milanese art collections, I love to focus on the smallest details in the paintings, which I hope to have the pleasure of describing to you. I love working with small groups, as well as with families with children, who allow me to engage in a very special dialogue to discover the city. I guarantee I'll be able to organize a special itinerary for you to get to know the city in the shadow of the Madonnina! I'll wait for you in Milan! Credentials: Degree in Cultural Heritage Sciences Master's Degree in Art History and Criticism 2019-2024 Higher education and specialized studies in Religious Tourism Member of GITEC Guide Italiane Turismo e Cultura Even if my calendar shows no availability, feel free to get in touch. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. Just to clarify, I only arrange hotel pick-up and drop-off through the driver. I will meet you at the meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone.

Do you want to experience the true essence of Milan? Follow me on this journey! We’ll explore the Cathedral, a 600-year masterpiece always under restoration, surrounded by marble spires and stunning stained glass— a "Bible of the poor." Discover its endless construction history, where even Leonardo da Vinci worked. Stroll through the elegant Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II to reach Teatro alla Scala, where Verdi and Puccini’s arias come to life. Wander the charming Brera district before arriving at Sforza Castle, home to Michelangelo’s final work, the Rondanini Pietà, and a treasure trove of art, sculptures, and Milan’s famed armor.
- Skip-the-line access to the Milan Cathedral. - Walk along the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a covered passage famous for its shops, restaurants, and pastry bars such as Camparino and Marchesi where we can stop for an espresso and a pastry. - Visit the Teatro alla Scala (in the absence of shows) and the Teatro alla Scala Museum. - Walk in the Brera district, one of the most characteristic for its pedestrian streets flanked by low houses. - Visit the courtyards of the Sforza Castle, the Rondanini Pietà, and the Museum of Ancient Art (Visit to the museums allowed from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5.30 pm) In the museums, archaeological sites, and in general in all the churches, the dress code for both men and women requires shoulders and knees to be covered. Shorts and skirts are fine, but below the knees. Do not bring large items (e. g. large bags, backpacks, long umbrellas…) on tour because they are not permitted.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
