Hello! My name is Elena and I'm a licensed tour guide in Milano. I love my job and meeting people visiting from all four corners of the world. I was born in a real Milanese family and I live in Milano: my mum has shared her passion for the art and history of our city with me ever since I can remember! Milano offers a multitude of museums and art galleries, as well as a host of temporary exhibitions all year round, so of course it's possible to incorporate a visit indoors during our walking tour. If you are planning to spend several days in the Lombardy region, I would be happy to accompany you and guide you around nearby Como and its beautiful, scenic lake, as well as the little-known and stunning walled city of Bergamo, both less than an hour away from Milano. Our visit will include: - The Scala Opera House Theatre: the most famous Opera Theatre in the world, with the best acoustics ever. If it's possible on the day of your tour, we'll have access to a box and will be able to peek at the world-famous stage - Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery: the world's first ever covered mall - Duomo and inside of the Cathedral: an extraordinary monument decorated with more than 3000 statues - Castello Sforzesco and Michelangelo's sculpture of the Pietà Rondanini, the last work by the creator of the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel - San Maurizio Church, a hidden gem: a stunning Renaissance church decorated throughout with breath-taking frescoes - S. Maria delle Grazie church with its gorgeous cloister and the famous refectory containing The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci (Tickets for the Last Supper are not always available and always need to be confirmed at the time of booking according to availability; all tickets must always be paid in advance).
