Hello! My name is Elena and I'm a licensed tour guide in Milano. I love my job and meeting people visiting from all four corners of the world. I was born in a real Milanese family and I live in Milano: my mum has shared her passion for the art and history of our city with me ever since I can remember! On our tour together we'll discover the city center and many hidden gems of Milano side by side. I really enjoy personalizing each and every tour, according to my guests' specific desires. Milano is not only the Italian capital of fashion and business, but it also has an incredible art heritage: whether your tastes run to historical masterpieces or the latest in contemporary architecture, this city has it all! I am also deeply passionate about food and wine, so showing you our local specialties or experiencing food tastings will naturally be an additional part of your experience with me. Milano offers a multitude of museums and art galleries, as well as a host of temporary exhibitions all year round, so of course it's possible to incorporate a visit indoors during our walking tour. If you are planning to spend several days in the Lombardy region, I would be happy to accompany you and guide you around nearby Como and its beautiful, scenic lake, as well as the little-known and stunning walled city of Bergamo, both less than an hour away from Milano. Any specific requests? You only have to ask, I'll be glad to customize a special tour just for you. Licensed as tourist guide for Food and wine itineraries (2017) Government Tour Guide License (Milano 2010) Food and Catering Degree at Scuola Cucina Italiana (2007) Member of GITEC Guide Italiane Turismo e Cultura Graduated from Milano Catholic University in 1988 I am not a driver but I can arrange for a private car and driver.

Milano is a dynamic city full of energy and new ideas, which is never more evident than when you discover its newest districts: firstly the Porta Nuova development, where a masterplan project including the collaboration of many famous architects such as César Pelli has transformed a whole area close to the Brera district. We will also explore the brand new "City Life" area, where world-renowned architects such as Zaha Hadid and Arata Isozaki have left their imprints, and where Daniel Libeskind is still hard at work constructing the Libeskind Tower. Both these newly created districts are the pride and joy of Milano, and represent concrete signs of a constantly evolving city. I look forward to sharing them with you! Please, if possible, contact me before booking the tour :)
-Porta Nuova Architecture District: César Pelli, Boeri Studio, Studio Arquitectonica have being working here. - City Life District: the three main sky-scrapers are Zaha Hadid, Isozaki and Libeskind works. -We will walk around both areas, but we'll travel from one district to the other by subway or taxi. -Our tour will be a walking outdoor tour, no entrance into private buildings is included.
