CIAO! My name is Nicoletta, (Niki), I am a native of Tuscany, born and raised in Livorno, mother of two wonderful kids, with a passion for this magical terrain and its enchanting places. I love my job! I’ve been a professional driver since 2010, working largely with cruise passengers docking at the ports of Livorno and La Spezia. After working with a variety of established agencies in Tuscany for many years, I opened my individual one in 2014 so that I could share my personal way of visiting Italy’s iconic places with travelers wanting a genuine, “tours by locals” experience. I also wanted to offer up some of the hand-crafted tours I’ve developed over the years, incorporating such elements as boutique wineries, to travelers in search of a unique itinerary... cater to small groups looking for a fun and friendly tour that gives you the most bang for your touring buck. My service encompasses shore excursions from the port of Livorno and the port of La Spezia, as well as day trips from Florence. From La Spezia, it’s about a 1 hour drive to Pisa, where your day begins at the beautiful Piazza dei Miracoli. Admire the stunning Cathedral, enjoy the atmosphere of the Square of Miracles, and take time for photos or a Tower climb if you wish. Continue to vibrant Piazza Keith Haring to see the colorful Tuttomondo mural, then enjoy a gentle walk along the scenic Lungarni. Discover the charming Church of Santa Maria della Spina and the peaceful Parish of St. Michael of the Scalzi, a quiet corner rich in history. Later, travel toward the rolling hills of Montecarlo di Lucca to visit the small, family run Azienda Agricola Enzo Carmignani. Here, you’ll enjoy a delicious homemade lunch and a warm wine tasting experience (45 euros per person, not included in the tour price, payable on site). From the winery, it’s about a 1 hour and 10 minute drive back to La Spezia. Return to your ship carrying with you the warmth, flavors, and gentle spirit of Tuscany.
