Vizag is a beautiful city with the ocean Bay of Bengal on one side and the Eastern Ghats beautiful mountains on the other. It is a must see city and I will help you discover the beauty of it! We will go around to see the harbour, local beaches, the local farmers' vegetable market, visit the beautiful Kailasagiri hill park and more. We will visit temples and learn about the Buddhist historical sites. I will also bring you to the most relevant museums (submarine museum, aircraft museum, Visakha museum). Your Vishakhapatnam tour itinerary
- First stop is the fishing harbour (suggested an early start). See the local fishermen at work- 30 min. - Then, we move to Ross Hills and stop at the viewpoint. See the church - 30 min. - See farmers' vegetable market - 30 min. - 20 km driving to reach Simhachalam temple (1000 years old) situated on a hill- 1 to 2 hours. - Lunch time. - Visit Submarine museum (unique in the world), Aircraft museum and Visakha museum (historical treasures and artefacts). All in the same area, about 30 min. visit in each place. - Short stop to the Meditation hall/center. - See the Buddhist historical site Thotlakonda (2000 years old) - 30 min. - See Rushikonda beach & R. k. beach - 30 min. - Go to the Kakasagiri Hill park. Take a nice ride on the ropeway toy train. See Shiva statues - 1 hour. *During weekends or local festivities, the order of the places to visit may be changed to avoid the big crowd. * Camera and footwear are not allowed in temples. * Timing are estimated and tour can last more.
