Overview of your Vishakhapatnam tour
This tour will get you away from the city and let you experience something different from the classic city tour. An experience that I can recommend also to learn a bit about the local tribe communities. Located about 90 km away from the city of Vishkapatanam, there are the natural Borra Caves. We will drive through the panoramic mountain roads of Eastern Ghats to get there and enjoy some time at this beautiful spot. Our tour will continue by visiting a Coffee plantation where I will give you interesting information. On the way to the Araku Valley, on Fridays and Sundays there is a local market where we can see the local tribe so if you have the tour on one of those days, it will be great. We will visit the Coffee museum as well as the Tribal museum to learn about the local tribe culture and history. * Araku Valley can be reached with one way train journey, booking the tickets in advance. In this case, on the way back we will use the car with the driver. Please, let me know if this is your preference.
Your Vishakhapatnam tour itinerary
- Pick up in the city and drive for about 2 hours and 15 min. to Borra caves. Some walking is required there. We spend some time, depending on your interest. - We then move to the coffee plantation - 30-40 min. - Drive about 30 min. to Araku Valley. On Friday and Sunday we can meet at the market, a local tribe. - Coffee museum and the Tribal museum - 1 hour is enough to visit both. - Drive back to the city (about 2 hour and 30 mins). * Lunch time is flexible. * The tour can be customisable. I can arrange the train journey (one way) to the Valley if you like. Please, contact me to discuss the details.
