Hi, my name is Om Prakash and I am a professional tour guide who has been working freelance since 2006. I am living in Tapovan, Rishikesh in Uttarakhand. As a guide, I am able to show visitors around my hometown and provide them with a historical and cultural context that they might not get otherwise. If you're interested in learning more about my culture and history, or if you need a guide to show you around Rishikesh, please don't hesitate to contact me. I would be more than happy to share my knowledge with you! My academic journey started with a Master's in Buddhist Philosophy from Nalanda University in Bihar. I then pursued a Master's in Tourism from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth in Varanasi. After that, I completed a Mountaineering Course at the Atal Vihari Institute of mountaineering and allied sports (AVIMAS) in Manali, India. I also have a 200-hour long Yoga Teacher Training Course (Yoga Alliance USA) from Rishikesh. Licensed Guide by Ministry of Tourism Government of India in 2010. I am not a driver, but I am a professional Tourist Guide with a license. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can set up a separate, private car and driver for you if you'd prefer.

It is very popular among nature lovers for a small Trek. The Himalayan stream waters falling from a rocky cliff attracting lots of tourists to have a divine dip in the ice-cool waters. The hiking on the Badrinath Highway from Rishikesh up to waterfalls is an adventurous activity as it has a small climbing trekking route through the forest on narrow edged trails. This is a three-tiered waterfall with three bathing small pools but the last pool is bigger than the first two, where you can do a bit swimming. There are two bridges on the waterfall and few resting stops. Butterflies of different species are seen fluttering around the wildflowers, adding beauty to this wonderful spot. Water, soft drinks, noodles, and tea are available here in small shops.
