Growing up in Rishikesh gave me the unique opportunity to experience its rich culture, spirituality, natural beauty, and traditions from a very young age. While many visitors spend only a few days here, I have spent my entire life exploring its temples, forests, rivers, mountain trails, villages, bustling local markets, and hidden corners that most tourists never get to see. Every street, every ghat, every mountain path, and every village has its own story, and I genuinely enjoy sharing those stories with travelers who are curious to experience the authentic spirit of Rishikesh. Rishikesh, nestled in the foothills of the majestic Himalayas on the banks of the sacred Ganges River. Rishikesh is known around the world as the Yoga Capital of the World, the gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas, and one of India's most important spiritual destinations. For me, however, it is much more than a famous travel destination, it is my home, my classroom, and the place that has shaped who I am. Thanks and regards Devesh

Perched at an altitude of 1,676 metres (5,499 feet) above sea level, Kunjapuri Temple is one of the most spectacular sunrise viewpoints in the Rishikesh. Located just outside Rishikesh, this sacred hilltop temple offers an unforgettable experience where spirituality and nature come together in perfect harmony. Before dawn, the sky slowly transforms from deep indigo to brilliant shades of gold, pink, and crimson. As the first rays of sunlight touch the snow-covered Himalayan peaks, the entire mountain range begins to glow with a magical golden light. On clear mornings, you can witness breathtaking panoramic views of some of the most revered Himalayan summits, including Chaukhamba, Bandarpunch, Swargarohini and Gangotri, stretching across the northern horizon. The temple itself is one of the revered 52 Shakti Peethas, believed to be the sacred place where the upper body of Goddess Sati fell.
