I accept difference between travelers and the people around us and make an effect to bond with them. I have been working in tourism since 2011 as a tour guide and worked with many well known companies. from years of my experiences and studies I have explored and got to know different face of the city and stories including New Delhi (capital of India) as well. I always try to please my guests by my services so they get the value of thier money and time. Guests experience what they really look for and I am able to show the clients the best as per thier interest. they feel comfortable and safe all the time because I am responsible for all the safety and security of guest and their assets. I have been working since 2011. I am an authorized tour guide. I completed my graduation and master degree from Dr. B.R.A.University in agra and also completed two levels of french language from alliance francaise de Delhi in delhi. It is collectively called Delhi otherwise there are two parts of Delhi, Old Delhi and new Delhi, Old Delhi was inhabited by shahjahan(same emperor who built the taj mahal) when he transferred his capital from agra to Delhi and he named it shahjahanabad, old delhi is famous for its monuments, colorful bazaars and chandani chowk. Chandani chowk is a colorful bazaar, very popular with traders and locals. It is considered as the best place to shop for fabrics in wholesale prices. Its bustling shopping area, with historic alleys and temples that take multiple visits to truly explore fully. Some food stalls in the area are 100 years old. New Delhi was built by British, The foundation stone of the city was laid by emperor george v so most of the building what we see in new delhi including president house, India gate and parliament were built by British and designed by sir Edwin lutyens and Herbert baker so new Delhi is also known as Lutyens Delhi .
I strongly recommend Lokesh as your tour guide. He's reliable, helpful, knowledgable and most of all very accommodating to all your needs. He goes far and beyond his normal tour duty to show you all the good and bad of Delhi. I spent a whole day with him and have learned so much about Indian custom, religion as well as all point of interests of Old and New Delhi.
We had a very enjoyable tour of several Delhi sites given by Lucky. He was very responsive to our request to customize our itinerary and focused on the sites we most wanted to visit. He is very knowledgeable, paced the tour well, and gave great historical context to the places we toured. We highly recommend him as a guide.
Outstanding tour. It was like being shown around the area by a local friend. Lucky was very knowledgeable and friendly. I'm more than happy with my time spent with him. Bennie the driver was also great. He is a good driver and a pleasure to speak with. I saw everything I wanted and more. I highly recommend the services of Lucky as a guide , Benny as a driver , and toursbylocals. I'm glad I used this tour company and would not hesitate to use them in the future.
