Delhi-Agra-Jaipur: Privately Guided Golden Triangle Trip Of India ( 3 Days/ 2 Nights )

I don’t have adequate words to describe the incredible experience we had with our guide, Vishnu and Mr. Singh, the driver. It was perfection from the moment Vishnu met us at the airport with that welcoming, warm smile to the brilliant knowledge he had of every single monument, tomb, cultural ceremony, palace and historical event. He made India come alive with all of its vibrant beauty and extraordinary history. We were enthralled for the entire 11 days we were together, traversing the golden triangle. He showed us the required tourist hotspots but he also showed us the “real India” with neighborhood walks and stops to see extraordinary charity works. I cannot tell you how meaningful this was, it gave India texture and nuance that selfies at famous temples cannot begin to touch. And his storytelling is the absolute best! As for the famous Taj Mahal, he spent time during our drive to Agra to share the incredible love story that bore the Taj and he did it with such vivid description and heart wrenching detail that we all 4 cried. It was absolutely beautiful and made the brilliance of that exquisite monument magical when we laid eyes on it. In addition to being the best tour guide you could hope for, Vishnu is hysterically funny. He made our time together so enjoyable with the playful banter, amusing quips, and his quick wit. He was a blast! However, above every other wonderful attribute, he shined in the most important aspect of them all, Vishnu is an extraordinary human being. His kindness, his moral fiber, his sincerity and his gentleness are traits we could all learn from. Vishnu, we miss you already and cannot wait to return to India to see so many areas we missed with you. And please tell Mr. Singh we said thank you for always being right where we needed, never having to wait or worry about leaving anything behind in the vehicle. We felt safe and cared for every moment of our journey. And as a tip to any prospective travelers, the upgrade to the gorgeous and incredibly comfortable van made the journey so much easier. It’s spacious, new and well maintained with reclining seats, phone chargers and plenty of space for shopping bags, luggage, etc. There simply cannot be a better guide in India than Vishnu. Do not hesitate to hire him and don’t make the mistake I did, in trying to control the itinerary. When I finally relented and let him set the tour, that’s when the magic began. Just tell him your must sees and the pace at which you want to explore and let him take it from there. You will not be disappointed!!

We had an absolutely wonderful travel experience in India with our guide, Vishnu. Vishnu greeted us at the Delhi airport with warmth and enthusiasm. Vishnu and his driver Mr G, were always very punctual, as we traveled for over a week with them. Vishnu shared so much knowledge of the history of his country and became our friend during the course of the trip thru Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Ranthambore. He took us on a fascinating walk thru old Delhi, and we saw incredible mosques, a gorgeous garden, Gandhi's memorial site, the Taj Mahal, unbelievable palaces and forts, historic stepwells, and the ultimate temple of Akshardam when we returned to Delhi. We can't say enough good things about our guide Vishnu. We never felt unsafe, and it was wonderful immersing ourselves in the country and learning how beautiful the culture and people are. We highly recommend Vishnu.

We did a 6-day tour with Vishnu across Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur and couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He is extremely knowledgeable, very accommodating, and made us feel safe and comfortable the entire time. Vishnu's driver that we had, Mr. Gee was also fantastic and very impressive in difficult driving conditions. One of the highlights was when he took us to his friends’ homes to celebrate a local holiday, it felt incredibly special and authentic. Vishnu went above and beyond to make our trip memorable, and I would highly recommend him to anyone visiting India.

We found Vishnu based on his ratings, and were so excited when he confirmed his availability. Turns out, we were incredibly lucky too! Vishnu is a confident and knowledgeable tour guide who is flexible, funny, and eager to share his culture and his history with you. Just as important was Mr. G, our kind and patient driver for the week who accompanied us on tea outings, shopping journeys, and traffic adventures. Together the two of them provided us with a week that really blew us away - we didn’t do much research beforehand, and it seemed that within the first few hours of meeting us they knew exactly what kinds of things we’d be interesting in seeing, eating and doing. We are both vegetarian and they showed us the best of the best. Vishnu helped us shop, Mr. G was an incredible driver, and we had the absolute best time seeing unique spots. We felt safe and comfortable. 15/10!

The trip with Vishnu was not only educational, well-organized and enjoyable, but also somewhat theatrical, when you immerse yourself in the history of the country, the life of noble people of the past and present, ordinary people and begin to understand and love this ancient and blessed country to some extent. We absolutely loved our tour with Vishnu!! If you are considering visiting the Golden Triangle, a tour with Vishnu is the only way to go. He is incredibly knowledgable, extremely friendly, and so fun. He knows all the best local spots and always made us feel comfortable in a totally new environment. With Vishnu, we loved getting to see both classic monuments (especially the Taj Majal!) and the real India. He taught us so much about the culture of India as well. Our only regret is not having more time to visit. We can’t wait to travel to India again for our next tour with our friend Vishnu!
