Mehrangardh Fort and full day sightseeing tour in Jodhpur

1, Mehrangarh Fort: The most magnificent fort in Jodhpur is the Mehrangarh Fort. It is situated on a 150m high hill. Rao Jodha, the then chief of Rathore clan, constructed it in 1459. There are a number of attractions within the fort like several palaces, galleries, a museum, temples and so on. Umaid Bhavan Palace: One of the fascinating palaces of Jodhpur is the Umaid Bhavan palace. Maharaja Umaid Singh constructed it in 20th century. A part of the palace has now been converted into a hotel and a museum. 2, Jaswant Thada: Jaswant Thada lies to the left of the Mehrangarh fort complex. It is a royal cenotaph made up of white marble. It was built to commemorate Maharaja Jaswant Singh. 1. Mehrangarh Fort - the first monument in Jodhpur, visiting time is 9 a. m. to 5 p. Mehrangarh Fort is not a single body structure, it contents lots of palaces and courtyards which add on different era so it keeps the history of 500 years with so many kinds of objects and ruins. As well as some of the high places that will give you such a nice overview of the blue city. Later on, we'll proceed to walk in an off-beat part of the blue city. There, you can enjoy your camera and if you want nice street food and we will visit the local market and visit the stepwell at the end of the tour. *We need 3 hours to visit the fort so you can choose your time in between 9a. m. to 5 p. m. 2. Jaswant Thada - is the second monument we'll visit, situated near the fort its visiting hours are between 9 am and 5 pm. 3.
