The Best of Berlin - Walking Tour

Berlin, the capital of Germany, is a fascinating city. Although its history goes back 1000 years ago, one can say that Berlin is the capital of the 20th century. From WW1, the Roaring Twenties, The rise of the Nazi and WW2 to the Cold War, the fall of the communist block, street art and much more. In the tour, I will take you through the dramatic changes and turbulences in Berlin's history. We will see where the Nazis' main government offices were, and the way Germany now commemorates this horrible past. We will see a piece of the Berlin Wall and walk through the (in)famous Checkpoint Charlie. Not only that, but we will of course also see the buildings representing the glory of the Prussian capital, from the stunning Gendarmenmarkt to the awe-inspiring Museum Island. Contemporary Berlin is also part of the route - with modern architecture, a bit of street art and a lot of Berlin spirit.
