Though it feels like just yesterday, it's been decades since the Berlin Wall finally opened. The German capital continues to reckon not only with the legacy of the Cold War division but also with the challenges of reunification. In this tour, you'll walk the wall's path and learn about the realities of daily life in its shadow, the stunning events leading to its collapse, and why reunification didn't mean "happy ever after" for everyone. . . I'm Georgia, your dedicated local expert, poised to unravel a complicated history with passion and precision. As a seasoned guide, I'll ensure you not only see sites of significance but also understand the context surrounding them. I pride myself on bringing a personal touch and I invite you to trust in my expertise for an enlightening exploration of a history that Berlin's still grappling with. Pushed for time? Ask me about the 3-hour version! This itinerary is a suggestion and can be customized as you wish - just let me know.
