Its the -state of the art- qualification rate. Meanwhile I've earned several licenses to guide through the castles and historic gardens in Berlin and Potsdam. (www. spsg. de) Myself occurs for this association sometimes well dressed as a historic person, to perform within a booked tour. Although I' m related to the main barrier free Tour Agency in here. Hiring a special Wheelchair Bus or another van for a Trip No problem. I am a professional Tour Guide for Berlin and Potsdam/Brandenburg Region since 2004. And I'm now one of the first Graduated Tour Guides, Qualified with DIN EN 15565 (Guideline of the German National Tourist Guide Association) in Germany and Europe. This includes various advanced skills. Although I've got many guiding-licenses for the castles and gardens of the Prussian Castles and Garden Foundation, like Sans Souci in Potsdam. In Germany its not allowed to drive a car and give sightseeing-informations by the same person.This services must be done by two different personas.

A walking tour through the inner city of Berlin, to all the well known hotspots. Starting at the cradle of middle-age Berlin on the River Spree, towards "Museum Island", Humbold University, BRANDENBURG GATE, the Reichstag Parliament area, followed by Eisenman's ''Holocaust Memorial'', to the new Potsdam Square. Beyond we will see an original piece of the BERLIN WALL, the "Topography of Terror" (SS / GESTAPO Documentation Center) and ending at the legendary CHECKPOINT CHARLIE.
Gerhard was amazing. Excellent knowledge of the city and provided an easy walking tour of the city. We stopped at many points throughout the tour and learned many fascinating facts. We got a lot of great pictures. I highly recommend using Gerhard for your private intimate tour of Berlin.

On our way, we will pass through different centuries of Berlin's history. After the Kings and Emperor period, a lot of places are linked to modern times, like the cold war, 3rd Reich, Germany's reunification, the new "Berlin Republik" since the 90's, A stop at the BRANDENBURG GATE of course, also a brief historic overview about the nearby REICHSTAG Building. Now the Parliament of Germany. We will pass through a section of Mr. Eisenman's "Holocaust Memorial". He said, "go in and find out what the meaning of my work is". This means you should better not suffer from Claustrophobia. 200 meters ahead, we visit a certain car parking place. Why? There under your feet, there are the last remains of HITLERS BUNKER! (There is no entrance anymore. ) Next comes the former Aviation Ministry of HERMANN GÖRING, still in use as Germans Finance Ministry. , followed by 200 Meters of authentic Berlin Wall at the "Topography of Terror" Doc. center. Here was the GESTAPO & SS headquarters. Finally, we end at CP CHARLIE
