Navigating Berlin in a luxury car is the most efficient way to discover the city from its foundation to today's modern metropolis. Depending on the location of your hotel, we will start with the Western or the Eastern part of the city and make several stops at important sights for photo-shooting and in-depth explanations. As we are chauffeured, we will discover Prussian history at the Charlottenburg Palace, the Reichstag, and the Brandenburg Gate as well as its nearby prestigious avenue: Unter den Linden. We will learn about the Third Reich (Hitler's Bunker, Topography of Terror, Holocaust Memorial, Book Burning Memorial, Luftwaffe headquarters), Jewish History, the Cold War and the Berlin Wall (Checkpoint Charlie, remains of the Wall), the Reunification, and the reshaping of the city (Potsdamer Platz, Government Quarter, New Central Train Station). Join me as we make the most of everything Berlin has to offer in style!
The itinerary is flexible and can be readjusted to your wishes. It should include: Stops (without inside visits) at the: • Charlottenburg Palace • Reichstag • Brandenburg Gate • Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe • Former site of Hitlers Bunker • Berlin Wall • Topography of Terror (former SS and Gestapo headquarters) • Luftwaffe headquarters • Checkpoint Charlie • Gendarmenmarkt • Book Burning Memorial at the Bebelplatz • Opera House • Museum Island and the Berlin Cathedral • Berlin City Palace/Humboldt Forum • East-Side-Gallery Drive through and see the • Kurfürstendamm, • KaDeWe • Memorial Church • Tiergarten Park, • Victory Column, • Palace of Bellevue, • Soviet War Memorial • Government Quarter • Potsdamer Platz, • Unter den Linden, • Memorial to Victims of War and Tyranny • Former Jewish quarter • Nicholas'Quarter and Church • Alexander Platz with TV Tower • Red Town Hall • Karl Marx Allee This itinerary will of course depend on the traffic and the events happening in the city.
