The Orsay Museum & Monet's Water Lilies - private tour with an Art Historian

This is a journey in which we'll run out of the traditional museum visit, to discover two places: the former train station welcoming the Orsay Museum and an old orange greenhouse which today houses Monet's water lilies. Through these two museums, we will discover the dramas and scandals of the Impressionists, the secrets of the artists, and the true story hidden behind the paintings that made the history of art. We'll stroll inside these two institutions, in the central nave of Orsay, in its elevated passages to discover the masterpieces it contains, and then at the Orangery, inside the two oval rooms of Monet's Water Lilies. And there we will get lost in the meanders of impressionist colors to end with a walk in the museum's permanent collection.
