This leisurely sightseeing walk is your perfect first date with Paris. You will get to know the most romantic city in the world and understand Parisian customs and art de vivre, as well as experiencing the legends of Notre Dame Cathedral, grandiose mansions, and Paris's tiny streets. Get ready to meet the significant symbols of the capital, discover the secrets of French monarchs, and, most importantly, feel the elusive charm of Paris! Of course, coffee breaks are possible during our walk, and we also stop for lunch in a cozy Parisian restaurant. All monuments are seen from the outside, with the exclusion of Sainte-Chapelle, which can be viewed from the inside if you wish - but please let me know in advance! We would highly recommend Olesya if you are looking to do a tour of Paris. We had booked a tour with her the day before and had to cancel so she incorporated some of what we missed in that tour during our tour the next day. We got a great overview of Paris and its history. She is very knowledgeable. We enjoyed spending the day with her.
I honestly can't say enough great things about Olesya. I took my youngest son to Paris for his 13th birthday. She was the perfect blend between professional, knowledgeable and competent and kind, thoughtful and flexible. The first part translated into unlocking history and context in a way that made the city, and especially museums and art, more interesting for me and my son. The latter simply increased the enjoyment factor and represented what one looks for when hiring private guides vs group tours.
