Overview of your Paris tour
You are going to visit the reception apartments of King Louis 14th, known as the "sun King", and of Marie-Antoinette, the dethroned queen. You won't miss the famous Hall of Mirrors, the place to see and to be seen at the royal Court. You will see where the court was throwing parties, weddings, enjoy music concerts or just hang out. Please DO NOT purchase museum passes for this tour. Your guide will make a reservation for you.

Eugenie was fantastic. We went on two tours with her. Versailles and the Louvre. Her insight and comments were entertaining, informative and educational. She helped my wife get a wheelchair and guided us through both very busy places. It wouldn't have been possible without her. I highly recommend going to Versailles before the Louvre because it helps understanding some of the Louve's pieces after you understand the history of Versailles and the Revolution, etc. Eugenie was wonderful, we can't say enough great things about her.

We had a great time with Eugenie at Versailles. We enjoyed her stories, and her route helped us to focus our tour on the high points and not lose time looking all over the grounds for the best spots. We had no idea the gardens were so expansive! My teenagers both commented on how much they liked her and how thankful they were to have a guide for Versailles. Highly recommended.

The best way to see Versailles. A private car picks you up at your hotel and you are dropped off at the gate of Versailles in 45 minutes. A private, experienced guide takes you through the castle at your speed and takes you where you want to go. Eugenie was a great guide, professional, personable and very experienced. We had a great day.
Your Paris tour itinerary
I will meet you at your hotel in Paris center. We will travel to Versailles in private transportation, about 1 hour trip. We will spend 3 hours total in versailles, split in between the inside of the chateau and the gardens. The precise duration of each depends on the weather, the heat, the cold, and you interrest. We will travel back to Paris via Private transportation.
