Saint-Germain-des-Prés Walking Tour: Women Who Shaped Paris

A unique tour of an interesting quarter of the city. Again, Alexandra is very knowledgeable about the characters and characteristics of the area. We had a wonderful day with a wonderful guide.

Our short tour (our fault!) was really interesting. Alexandra was charming, informative and really friendly. we would recommend her to everyone.

We loved this tour through the streets of St Germaine du pres. it was our first day in Paris and we wanted to get to know our neighborhood a little better to get our bearings. Alexandra's focus on notable women residents is such a unique way to learn about the rich history of the neighborhood. She even had pictures of everyone. We saw and learned things we would have never known about!

Alexandra was knowledgeable and good-humored as she guided us on an interesting tour through St. Germaine du Pres in the rain. She was generous with her time, and I recommend her tour as a good introduction to the area.

Alexandra was just delightful! She had a wonderful way of leading us through the small, much less crowded streets of St Germain, and telling us animated tales from some of the most famous (and infamous) women who lived there. We've had other tours here, that capitalized on the "American men of the Lost Generation" in Paris but she brought this historical neighborhood's women alive!

Alexandra is very knowledgeable of the architecture and history of the Saint Germaine de Pres church and the surrounding neighborhood. Fascinating to learn scout all the famous women (and some men) who have lived there through the centuries. We enjoyed our time very much.
