Full day Guided Tour in Versailles Castle and Marie Antoinette private apartment

What a perfect day at Versailles - the highlight of our brief trip to Paris! Kevin (the first!) was a master guide - knowledgeable, pleasant, flexible, funny and he knows Versailles extremely well and brings it to life for his guests. My 20/22 year old daughters, their 2 friends and I had a magnificent day with Kevin. Highlights included: Kevin’s deep knowledge of Versailles and its history (and dialing the information up and down based on interest from the group), not waiting in a single line (even during a busy Saturday in May!), easy communication pre and during the trip, finding the **best** photo spots, and bringing us to see hidden gems in the gardens and the petit Trianon that I had never seen before (despite visiting Versailles several times previously). Drop off and pick up couldn’t have been smoother - and no traffic to or from Versailles. Book a tour to Versailles with Kevin if you can - you won’t regret it!

Arranging this tour with Kevin made our trip to Versailles so hassle-free. He picked us up right on time at our hotel, drove us to Versailles, found parking close by the chateau, & led us into the chateau with the tickets he had bought earlier. He was able to guide us through the rooms of the chateau quickly (while finding us pockets of free space in which to stand) without making us feel rushed. He then walked us through parts of the gardens (including some beautiful viewpoints for photos). He made reservations for lunch at a lovely restaurant in town, & we enjoyed our meal there before driving to the Trianon to explore there (& being able to drive there rather than walking was a godsend). Very glad that we visited Versailles with Kevin.

Kevin is a wonderful, knowledgeable tour guide. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel to when we were dropped off at the end we had a great experience. We had a day tour through Versailles, Gardens, Le Petit Trianon, and the Queen’s Hamlet. Kevin was aware that we interested in visiting the Royal Carriage House and he helped make it happen! With his skip the line access, we avoided the long waits and entered the palace smoothly, which gave us more time to fully enjoy the stunning rooms, gardens, and halls. Kenin's warmth, professionalism, sense of humor and attention to detail made our day memorable.

Versailles was a highlight of our trip in France, a must see for the rich history and architecture. Kevin made us visit the chateau using a side entrance and avoiding the crowds all along. Kevin timed the gardens visit with the fountain shows available on Sundays. We also had the opportunity to visit the local market and eat the best rotisserie chicken for lunch to get a taste of the locals. The Trianon and Hamlet visits were great with a much smaller crowds. Kevin is well known and appreciated in Versailles and shared his wealth of knowledge with us. Additionally, Kevin was on time, the car was clean and smelled amazing, and the drive was smooth early in the morning. Kevin offered to drop us off at the Arc de Triomphe to continue visiting Paris at the end of the day. Thank you again for the great tour!
