Overview of your Paris tour
Prepare for half a day of fun, history and food while you let me show you the quaint historical neighborhoods. The day includes among others: * Place des Vosges, Jewish quarter, Hôtel de Sully, Victor Hugo house, musée Carnavalet, medieval house old city wall, Saint Gervais church, a hidden village, a cannonball from the revolution and lots of cozy streets with boutiques and some of the best pastries. On demand we can add the Bastille and the market (Thu and Sun). * Pedestrian area with the Pompidou center, Stravinsky fountain, street art, forum des Halles, rue Montorgeuil, Saint Eustache church, Nelson Mandela garden, some of the oldest brasseries in the city. PS. can be mixed with the Left bank as well!

We had an exceptional walking tour with Suzanne, who brought the Marais and Les Halles to life with insight, humour, and vivacity. She guided us through quiet corners and key landmarks, from Place des Vosges and the Jewish quarter to Hôtel de Sully and even remnants of the medieval city wall. Her knowledge was deep but never overwhelming, and she added contemporary insights into Parisian life. Suzanne tailored the tour to our interests, adding Bastille on request. On her suggestion, we further explored Montorgueil and found a great spot to eat and people-watch. A true pleasure and highly recommended!

Susanne provided an insightful tour today. She brought the Marais alive for me. From noting historical buildings and their different periods to the Jewish Quarters in the WWII period made me see Paris in a different light.
