Bonjour! My name is Oxana, and I am a National State approved French tour guide. I was born in Moscow, Russia, from where my family moved to France in 1998. I have been living in Paris since, and now know this city like the back of my hand. After finishing secondary school, I first studied fine arts at the Sorbonne University and then joined the school for professional guides from which I graduated, in 2009, with a diploma and a national tourist guide license issued by the French Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Since then I have been working as a tour guide in Paris and its nearby regions with people from all over the world. I myself am a passionate traveler. I have visited over 20 countries in Europe, Asia and Latin America. I speak four languages: English, French, Russian and Spanish, which helps when I am travelling, discovering new continents, people, their history, their culture. As well as visiting other countries, I like to travel inside France, whose regions have so much to offer in terms of cultural heritage, landscapes and, of course, local cooking traditions. However, in spite of there being so many other amazing places on Earth, I truly believe that my city is the best one. Fantastic Tour! So well organized, it was such a fantastic day to see so many different places, and pieces of history! This was our second tour with Oxana and it was just as great as the first one. We rode around Paris for four hours and learned so much about the history and beautiful architecture. She had us so enthralled the time went by so quickly, leaving us wanting more. I hope we can come back to Paris in the future and have her show us more.
This city tour in a minivan will allow you a quick, but very complete, overview of the city including all the major landmarks and neighbourhoods of Paris. After being picked up at your hotel, you will be driven to Notre-Dame, the Louvre, the Champs-Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe, the Invalides, the Latin Quarter, the Saint-Germain district, the Place de la Concorde, the Opera Garnier, Place Vendome, the Pantheon, the Sorbonne University, the Luxembourg gardens, Montmartre, the Sacre-Coeur Basilica and, of course, the Eiffel Tower. You will be able to take the best photographs of the Eiffel Tower from the panoramic spot at Trocadero. Besides Trocadero, this tour includes two other stops: one near the Notre Dame Cathedral on the Île de la Cité, and the second one on top of Montmartre for a breathtaking view of the whole of Paris.
