Your Paris tour itinerary
Our journey will start atLes Invalides. It served as home for War Veterans and military hospital during the French Revolution. Today, Les Invalides hosts the Army Museum containing collations going from the middle age until the 1st and 2nd World War. To Start with we will focus on the part of Les Invalides dedicated to the French Political context of the late XVIII century, when a young General Bonaparte Napoleon through his military victories was noticed by the most influential French political leaders. Thanks to the exhibitions we are going to discover how Napoleon's rise to power, as well as his charismatic leadership and private life, until his downfall. The tour will then continue to the adjacent Dome of Les Invalides where Napoleon is buried today. It is a magnificent building decorated with a top golden dome and containing the majestic Emperor's coffin. It was made in the XIX century in order to glorify a personality whose legacy is lingering in France until today.
