Bonjour! Aloïs here, I live in Paris since 16 years and still fall in love with my city everyday, come on a tour with me to experience Paris like a parisian. As a tour guide, my favorite thing is to point out the little details you may not have noticed and to explore lesser known places. A detour out of the beaten path next to the most famous monuments takes you to unexpected gems. Of course I will take you to the big sights, Notre-dame, le sacré-coeur, la tour Eiffel, le Louvre, and for each show you where to look at them from and tell the stories behind. We are so lucky to live in a city rich of thousands years of history: let's explore together the antic ruins in the Latin quarter, the medieval mansions in Marais, or the former ateliers of Montmartre's famous painters. When we are together I am flexible and adapt to your likings :) Let me know your passions and I might show you something special. Or we can stop for café and delicious food wherever, I will show you the good spots. Last but not least my passion for history and beauty is related to my other job, as a personal stylist. I take my clients to the best stores in towns whether new or vintage and give them tips and tricks to look their most fabulous. I also published 3 books on fashion styling and fashion history. Paris is beautiful. No one can deny that. But sometimes beauty is less obvious. It becomes more about charm. Follow me in busy Belleville and discover a colorful tagged street, loud cafés, the mix of couscous and Bo-bun smell, the view over Paris from far North, an abandoned railroad made into a garden, tiny quiet streets that feel like a village and quite an impressive neogothic church. . . This is the Paris where I live and I would like to show you why I love it so much.
She is a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide. What is most impressive is her sense of class and style which she adds to the touring process. I was completely fascinated by the way she integrated the tour with her unique French personality to make the tour a unforgettable experience. This young woman is a package of style and class which impressed me. I had the feeling of being elevated in my Parisian touring experience.
Alois was extremely knowledgeable. This was a fun and informative tour of the Canal St. Martin area. We saw sights that we wouldn't have discovered by ourselves such as a beautiful church and street art. Great tour, thanks.
