Bonjour! My name is Oxana, and I am a National State approved French tour guide. I was born in Moscow, Russia, from where my family moved to France in 1998. I have been living in Paris since, and now know this city like the back of my hand. After finishing secondary school, I first studied fine arts at the Sorbonne University and then joined the school for professional guides from which I graduated, in 2009, with a diploma and a national tourist guide license issued by the French Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Since then I have been working as a tour guide in Paris and its nearby regions with people from all over the world. I myself am a passionate traveler. I have visited over 20 countries in Europe, Asia and Latin America. I speak four languages: English, French, Russian and Spanish, which helps when I am travelling, discovering new continents, people, their history, their culture. As well as visiting other countries, I like to travel inside France, whose regions have so much to offer in terms of cultural heritage, landscapes and, of course, local cooking traditions. Overview of your Paris tour
BEFORE BOOKING MY TOUR please contact me first to enquiry what kind of tickets to book as the Louvre requires special reservation and tickets for any guided tour. PLEASE NOTE that my tour is made for children from 9 years old. Many parents would love to bring their children to the Louvre but are not sure that they would appreciate it. Sometimes museums tours seem too boring and art history is probably not the most passionate subject for children. However, this museum tour will be an entertaining adventure full of quizzes to be solved. Both children and adults can participate in this game while discovering some of the greatest masterpieces in the Louvre: Ancient Greek and Roman art, Ancient Egyptian civilization, the Italian Renaissance paintings and, of course, the famous "Mona Lisa" by Leonardo da Vinci. As a result, during this tour, both children and their parents will have fun. Believe it or not, adults are often just as passionate about the game as their children.
Your Paris tour itinerary
During this tour you will discover the Medieval Louvre, the Egyptian sphinx, the Greco-Roman section including the Venus de Milo and the Winged Victory of Samothrace, the Italian Renaissance section including paintings by Botticelli, Ghirlandaio, Rapahel, Leonardo Da Vinci (not only the Mona Lisa but much more). According to the Louvre rules you can stay inside the museum for up to three hours which gives an extra hour to discover the rest of the museum after my tour.
