Bonjour! Aloïs here, I live in Paris since 16 years and still fall in love with my city everyday, come on a tour with me to experience Paris like a parisian. As a tour guide, my favorite thing is to point out the little details you may not have noticed and to explore lesser known places. A detour out of the beaten path next to the most famous monuments takes you to unexpected gems. Of course I will take you to the big sights, Notre-dame, le sacré-coeur, la tour Eiffel, le Louvre, and for each show you where to look at them from and tell the stories behind. We are so lucky to live in a city rich of thousands years of history: let's explore together the antic ruins in the Latin quarter, the medieval mansions in Marais, or the former ateliers of Montmartre's famous painters. When we are together I am flexible and adapt to your likings :) Let me know your passions and I might show you something special. Or we can stop for café and delicious food wherever, I will show you the good spots. Last but not least my passion for history and beauty is related to my other job, as a personal stylist. I take my clients to the best stores in towns whether new or vintage and give them tips and tricks to look their most fabulous. I also published 3 books on fashion styling and fashion history. Overview of your Paris tour
I love the quarter latin. . . It reminds me of when I was a student at La Sorbonne. As we walk around we will see: Sights: Le Panthéon, medieval streets, the impressive building of the Sorbonne, charming church Saint-Etienne du Mont, etc. Charming paved streets: the rue Mouffetard and place de la contrescarpe. Roman ruins: Paris used to be part of the roman empire. . . Bookstores and movie theaters: the soul of the neighbourhood. Gardens: Jardins du Luxembourg and Jardin des plantes. and. . . if we are lucky. . . the inside of a 1850 library!. I will tell you the stories behind the places and share my experience of life there back in my early Parisian years.
