This was my 2nd tour of the Marais with Silvia and she showed us many historic spots complete with interesting facts as well as all the WWII sites I wanted to revisit. We think Silvia is an excellent guide, friendly and knowledgeable! And fun! We never felt rushed and she even walked us to the north end of the Marais. I would book her again for other tours in the future.

We had a lovely morning tour of the Marais district with Silvia! Charming area with lots of history and Silvia had great suggestions for unique treat breaks and hot chocolate! Only regret is booking this tour our last day and not our first!
Wonderful morning for the walking tour of the Marais. Silvia was great showing us the most interesting shops with various tastings due our walk. We especially enjoyed the opportunity to visit the multiple gardens and plazas during our walk. She proved to be a great photographer to get us some memories. Even though it started to rain heavily, we got to our lunch destination and Silvia assisted with getting us an indoor table to help us begin to dry out. Thanks.
Silvia provided a great tour of the Marais & also taught us to use the Paris Metro. This set us up for an outstanding week in Paris. Silva's knowledge of the details and nuances of the Marais were perfect.
We'll start at Hôtel de Ville. We'll walk Inside the Marais and you'll notice right away the beauty of medieval mansions, narrow streets and hidden courtyards. We'll get to Rue des Rosiers, the heart of the Jewish quarter, where you can taste the best felafels in the city. From there we'll walk to the north of the Marais, where once stood the famous "Tour du Temple". We will visit the "Marché des Enfants Rouges", the oldest food market in Paris and if you want we'll have a tasting of local wines and cheeses. We'll walk then to Place des Vodges, one of the most beautiful and elegant square in Paris and then we'll walk to Saint Paul district. We'll walk along the Seine River, near the "Ile Saint Louis" and "Ile de La Cité" islands and we'll finish our tour at Notre Dame. **The tour mentioned here is a standard tour, the order of places visited may change depending on the starting point, but the places visited will not vary.
