Half-day trip to Versailles from Paris

Excellent tour, very informative and a great way to view Versailles for the first time. As a lover of history, I could have stayed all day, but this half day trip was perfect for my husband & teenagers.

Our tour of Versailles with Bertrand was incredible. His deep knowledge of the palace’s history and the era of the French monarchy added incredible depth to every room and corridor we explored. Bertrand shared fascinating stories about the kings and court life that made the grandeur of Versailles come alive in a vivid and personal way. The tour of the expansive gardens and grounds was equally impressive, with insights into the design, symbolism, and secrets of the estate. Bertrand’s passion, expertise, and engaging storytelling made this a truly unforgettable experience.

We had a fantastic visit to Versailles with Bertrand. He is a fantastic guide that went above and beyond to make this tour an excellent experience. He is extremely knowledgeable about Versailles and France's history but what makes him great is that he truly adapts the pace of the tour and the information provided to the specific audience, rather than following a script. Will gladly take any other tour he may have available next time we are in Paris.

We booked with Bertrand for his half-day Versailles trip. We were impressed with Bertrand as a guide. Our family was a “mixed” group - 2 people over the age of 65, 2 young adults, and one young child. Bertrand skillfully anticipated the different needs and interests of our group members, was very accommodating and flexible. His knowledge of France and Versailles was invaluable in understanding its history, architecture, and culture. We thoroughly enjoyed his insights and his humor. It was fun! He created a great atmosphere to tour Versailles. And even recommended a restaurant in Paris to finish off our tour where we had a delicious meal. In short, Bertrand was fantastic and an outstanding tour guide.
