Hello everyone !!! My name is Steeve and I will love to be your guide for your next trip to Paris. Let's start off with a bit of my own experience in the Tourism Industry. Born in Paris near Montmartre, I grew up on the left bank of the city in St Germain where I graduated from high school. I decided to study in the Travel University in San Diego in 1997 and 1998 before specialising in the Tourism Industry for two more years in Montpellier, south of France, and then becoming a licensed guide in Paris. I am also graduated from the French Wine University of Suze-la-Rousse and worked as a sommelier in Paris, before specialising in leading wine tours around France. I am very flexible, a real history buff and love guiding people. Of course wine and food !!! we are in France. I love my country . . . I only operate private tours in deluxe minivans with pick-up and drop off to and from your hotel. Before starting the tour, I love taking a few minutes to discuss the tour itself with you, so that I can better understand your expectations and make the best choices for the day, all personalised towards your interests and desires. My tours are never the same, because people who book my tours are regarded as individuals, so my first goal is always to customise your tour based on your wishes. I love to personalise my tours, share small anecdotes so everybody can enjoy the trip. You are not just buying an excursion somewhere, but rather a full French experience, where the guide makes all the difference. Most favorite day-trip from Paris !!! This tour is a combination of the Versailles and Giverny tours which includes the opportunity to have a great lunch in a remarkable location near Claude Monet's house in Giverny. I will show you some outstanding highlights on this day-trip. The morning will be dedicated to the discovery of the Palace of Versailles and its famous French Gardens. In the afternoon, I will take you to Giverny, down the backroads and past ancient villages to discover the world of Impressionism. ♥ Most Favorite tour !!! It is definitely one of the most suitable and enjoyable tours for families and nature lovers! The experience is fun, educational and relaxing all at the same time. I will pick you up from your hotel in Paris in a luxury private vehicle. On the way to Versailles, I will give you a complete introduction to the century of Louis XIV, and the history of the Palace of Versailles, one of the jewels of French architecture.
We spent 3 days with Steeve and enjoyed every minute. Very knowledgeable and history buff. Very flexible and knows all the shortcuts. We did his Normandy, Giverny/Versailles and Paris tours and highly recommend any of them. We will do Steeve's wine country tours next trip.
Vincent and Steeve worked together to assure our day was fantastic. Steeve helped us customize the day to suit our interests and mobility issues of one of our group. Vincent guided us through Monet's house and gardens in Giverny and the highlights of Versailles. Along the way he added historical and anecdotal facts that made the tour feel more personal and insightful. Vincent also arranged a lovely lunch in a small restaurant near Versailes. We are still dreaming of the lovely pastries...
Unfortunately Steeve was unable to make this tour but he sent a very good replacement. Our tour guide was very accommodating, knowledgeable, and did a great job working around the wet weather and Olympics traffic we had the day we toured. I would recommend the tour for sure.
What an experience! What a great day. The tour to remember. Our tour guide, Steeve, was at our hotel early and the van was perfect. He recommend the best plan for the day for two sites and we were ahead of the crowds at both locations. We never waited in any lines and he had behind the scene access. Steeve's knowledge and narration were outstanding. His lunch recommendation was perfect. This tour was the highlight of our Paris trip.
Steeve is exceptional in his knowledge enthusiasm and humor. We had a beautiful tour of Giverny which I felt was not to be missed. I have loved Monets paintings but to see where he lived, raised his family and to learn much more from Steeve made it so much more meaningful. We then went to Versailles which was more crowded but Steeve knew how to make the most of it. His knowledge of US history was an added delight. I wish we could have had him for more museums!!
We had a great day with Steeve, touring Versailles and Giverny. Steeve is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does and this comes out throughout the day and the tour. I would have loved to have had the time to do the champagne tour that he offers. Highly recommended.
Only 12 miles southwest of Paris, you will begin your day with a private visit of the Palace where you will see the Royal Chapel, the Royal Apartments, the Hall of Mirrors, the Queen's Apartments and the Hall of the Battles. I will have the reservation I had bought prior to your visit, so you will not have to wait in the long queues! (I will enter with you through a special entrance to start the visit). After visiting the castle, I will take you for a stroll through the gardens before driving through the beautiful village of Giverny situated at the gates of the Normandy region. Upon your arrival, I be given an introduction to the life of Claude Monet. It is now time to have a wonderful lunch (not included) on the terrace of the famous Hotel Baudy in Giverny. After lunch, follow me for a visit of the water garden with its famous Japanese Bridge and water-lily ponds covered with wisterias before discovering the flower garden. I always operate my tours in deluxe, air-conditioned vehicles, with pick-up and drop-off at your hotel. My vehicles are super clean and very comfortable. Depending on the size of your group, I will take the appropriate vehicle. - I have one deluxe black car Renault Espace with a capacity of 4 people maximum. It has a panoramic roof and it is great for city tour. - I also have a black Minivan Caravelle Volkswagen with a capacity of 7 people maximum, great for a larger group and big family.
