Bonjour! Welcome to Paris. Let me help you make the most of your visit to my city. IMPORTANT: No jet fuel shortage in France all summer, you can come, no problem. Over 1,300 tours given! Most with 5 star reviews. I'm a middle-school Special-ed teacher with some time on my hands to guide tourists in Paris. Walking around the city and learning about its history is a hobby of mine. Sharing it with foreign visitors is always fun! Paris deserves getting a private guide! My tours are neither a history class nor an art class. They are aimed at making you fall in love with this amazing city. A pleasant discovery through all senses. Whether you want to see the most famous monuments, the quaint neighborhoods, the historic center or go off the beaten track, I have the perfect itinerary for you, but you are always in control of the tour. Paris is best seen on foot. If walking for three hours is a bit too much for you, we can always ride the metro or take an Uber to reach remote places. I also offer tours in a nice A/C van if you prefer: We can see it all in just 4 hours. I often custom-make my tours, so don't hesitate to ask! I can adjust tour duration, starting point, stops, anything you want. I always come and meet you at your hotel or place of stay. You'll have zero stress! Unusual requests have been frequent over the years: I can handle them! You name it: organizing a surprise marriage proposal at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, stopping for cheese and wine at the tip of StLouis Island like Parisians do, or even trying all salted-butter caramel macarons in town to decide which is best. . . Been there, done that! I have been guiding small private groups or individuals for 10 years now, it's become a real passion. I look forward to it each time. I have so many anecdotes and fun stories to tell you about my city. My tours are never boring, just read my reviews! I now also offer professional photo shoots on tour for an extra fee. SAFETY: There are some fake taxis at the airport and Gare du Nord. Only use taxis with a taxi sign (light) on the roof (fixed 65€ from CDG), or Uber or Bolt or take the B train (14€ incl. subway transfers to anywhere in Paris). Pickpockets love tourists of course, but simple measures can prevent problems, such as not putting wallets and phones in your jeans' back pockets. Do not stop to sign petitions: Pickpockets are very inventive when it comes to distracting you. This being said, we don't have guns. . . there is no violent crime here and little homelessness. ABOUT THE LOUVRE and ORSAY: I can take you to the essential pieces WITHOUT LINES, but I won't give commentary on the art as I am not licensed for museums. If you want a detailed tour of Louvre, please hire a licensed guide on this website. I don’t do Versailles at all. Most museums require advanced booking. ABOUT TRANSPORTATION: The cheapest way to get around is to buy a day pass (12€) at any metro station each morning. We have Uber, Bolt and Heetch. Regular taxis are faster though. NOTE ABOUT THE EIFFEL TOWER: I cannot get you skip-the-line tickets. These can only be obtained by you on the tower's website for 25€. If unavailable, don't buy from online resellers, just buy from the booth after security underneath the tower. Expect lines even if you have a timed ticket. OPENING HOURS: City Museums (like Carnavalet, Petit Palais) close on Mondays and are free. National Museums (Louvre, Orangerie, Iena. . . ) are closed Tuesdays, except Orsay, Cluny, Picasso and Versailles which close Mondays. Online tickets only. Shops are usually open from 10am to 7:30 pm. AIRPORT PICKUP : My tours can only start within the Paris city limits. You can come by Taxi, Uber or Train and meet me. ETA: Now you need an Electronic Travel Authorization to enter Europe (ETIAS) as of Nov 26. More here: https://travel-europe.europa.eu NOTRE DAME: Lines can be up to 15 min but entry is free. You need to cover your shoulders to enter Notre Dame. I encourage you to select the Cancellation Option when you book my tours. It protects both you and I. Thanks! For any other query, just message me.

On this walking tour, I will guide you to the friendliest spots in the gay area (Marais), along with the best sights around it. I'll also explain how this former swamp became the gayest and most pleasant district of Paris. I can suggest great shopping or eating places, bars, discos and saunas to finish your visit with a bit of French fun :-) Depending on weather and your interest in shopping and bars this tour can be from 1:30 to 2 hour-long. Please also note that some of the monuments in the Marais are closed on Sundays and Tuesdays. This tour is best in the early evening, when the area becomes vibrant and fun! I've lived here for years and have witnessed the changes in the gay area, I know where gays go and have the most fun. Great shops, restaurants, saunas, discos and bars too! I also offer half and full day versions of this tour, which include the gay area in a broader visit of Paris. 3h tour : https://tinyurl.com/2b2w4cee 7h tour : https://tinyurl.com/3r5ydwdc
Central Paris: Les Halles, Chatelet, Marais. The gay area is in the 4th and 3rd arrondissements of Paris, plus a Disco at Republique and another one at Madeleine. We will see most popular, new and historical bars, discos and night venues, adult-only places and various beautiful buildings of interest in the area as well. I will also take you through a 17th century mansion (typical of the early Marais), then we'll walk to the grand square where the king stayed, surrounded by the shop-lined streets the Marais is famous for, along with delicious macarons sold at various patisseries of the area, and the history Jewish street, before finding all the gay bars and restaurants.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
On foot, public transport if meeting at a hotel far from the Marais.
Paris, Île-de-France, France
Exit 6 of metro line 1, ground level by the news-stand, located on Rue Lobau at the corner of Rue de Rivoli. Message me if you want me to meet you elsewhere. Thanks!
