Silvia was an outstanding tour guide and made our visit to Paris even more memorable. Her walking tour was the perfect way to experience the city. She took us through many of Paris’s most iconic neighborhoods and landmarks, explaining each site’s history in great detail and showing how it shaped the Paris we know today. One of the things we appreciated most was that she shared wonderful local recommendations along the way, including great places to stop for snacks and food. Those little touches made the experience feel authentic and gave us a chance to enjoy Paris like a local. Silvia is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about her city. She kept the tour engaging from start to finish, and her enthusiasm made the history come alive. I would highly recommend Sylvia to anyone visiting Paris. This was my first time using Tours by Locals and I can say I was very impressed. The ease of booking and the communication that followed was spot on. Silvia, our guide communicated in advance, was on time and truly a spectacular guide. She remembered our preferences, and gave a an incredible tour of Paris, seeing locations and neighborhoods that I would never have seen on my own, along with great history and tips for the rest of our trip...she was simply fantastic! I am a seasoned traveler and always have done my own research and self toured many cities, so I was a bit hesitant to hire a guide, but my friends recommended it after a trip to Scotland. I intentionally booked this tour on day 2 of of our 5 day trip to help get the lay of the land and it was the BEST thing I could have done, as the remainder of our stay was so much easier now that I knew where to go and what I wanted to re-visit in detail, along with other general tips about seeing and experiencing Paris.
