Champagne - Full-Day Private Tour

A perfect occasion to venture outside of Paris and head to where it really sparkles and bubbles ! You will taste and learn first hand the Champagne method, from vine to wine. We will drive along beautiful countryside roads, picturesque vineyards, the oldest champagne wineries on Champagne Ave. in Epernay and ascend to breathtaking views in the Mountain of Reims and Hautvillers. We usually stop for at least 2 tastings - at a renowned winery of your choice like Moet & Chandon, Taittinger, Veuve-Cliquot, etc (which includes a tour of their traditional cellars where millions of bottles are stored in underground mazes carved into white chalk) and at a smaller family grower/producer in the Mountain of Reims. Depending on time, we can also visit marvels of religious architecture along the route, notably the Cathedral of Reims where most of the kings of France were crowned, and the local church in Hautvillers where Dom Perignon is buried. Exact itinerary will be tailored based on your selected champagne tastings.
