Hi, I am Patricia, Born in Paris, and definitely in love with my town, I am an official Licensed guide registered with the Paris Tourist Office and National Tourist Federation since 2004. Patricia is really fun to be with. She has an encyclopedic knowledge of Versailles and the history that shaped it. We were able to navigate the property with ease and got a comprehensive tour of the Palace as well as the Trianon Palace and gardens. We had a wonderful time and learned a lot.
Patricia is a wonderfully experienced tour guide with over 20 years of experience and knowledge which created a wonderful experience for us at Versailles. Her indepth history lesson upon entering each palace room helped us understand the meaning of each room's decor and purpose. Overall this experience gave us a broader understanding of French and specifically Parisian history that we carried throughout the rest of our time in Paris, better understanding the sequence of historical events. A thanks to our driver who was extremely timely and safe too.
Our guide Patricia was exceptionally skilled in steering us through the crowds and finding the right spot to give us clear, detailed explanations of what we were seeing. She was especially good at providing the cultural and political context of life in this vast palace complex. Also at picking out nuances in how paintings in the palace depicted different events as history progressed toward to the eventual revolution from outside. Though she didn't have to, Patricia escorted us to a fine restaurant in the gardens where she secured us a table at short notice. All in all, excellent value and access to information and locations we would not have been able to find on our own.
