Hi! I’m Inès, a licensed guide and certified driver based in Marseille, Provence. When I’m not guiding, you might find me on a sunny terrace with a book or a friend, making music, diving in the Mediterranean, or setting off on a road trip. Before becoming a guide, I studied linguistics and literature and worked as a teacher and translator — curiosity and the need to communicate, interpret, and connect have always been at the core of who I am. Guiding came to me almost by accident, yet it quickly felt like an obvious choice. What I love most is connecting with people and shaping each day around their interests, rhythm and curiosity. My connection to Provence began in childhood, during my first trips with my mother to visit her best friend. I fell in love with its light, atmosphere, and warmth, and chose it as my home ten years ago. Today, as a licensed guide authorized to guide inside heritage monuments, I enjoy sharing both iconic highlights and quieter places, always with context, stories,s and local insight. I guide in English, French and Spanish, and offer experiences focused on culture, heritage, wine, landscapes, and local life. Tours are conducted in a comfortable, air-conditioned Mercedes van with seating for up to 8 passengers. I love guiding in a way that feels warm, thoughtful, and personal. I would be delighted to share with you the Provence I love — whether you have a few hours from a cruise ship or several days to explore more deeply. My goal is for your time here to feel natural, comfortable,e and truly memorable.

We begin the day in Arles. As we stroll, I’ll help you understand how Roman monuments, everyday life and more recent history coexist naturally. Arles is also connected to Vincent van Gogh, who spent a creative year here. Visits to specific sites or monuments can be arranged as an extra. Or you can simply have some extra free time to enjoy a coffee, browse local shops or wander. We then drive into the limestone hills of the Alpilles to reach Les Baux-de-Provence, a striking medieval hilltop village. You’ll enjoy lunch and wander through the stone streets and scenic viewpoints of one of the most beautiful villages of France. We continue to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, a lively town with elegant streets, shaded squares and a relaxed rhythm. We could visit Saint-Paul-de-Mausole, the monastery where Van Gogh stayed and created some of his most iconic paintings (not included). You’ll have free time to browse shops or relax. If your visit falls on a Wednesday, we can start the day here to enjoy the market.
