Hi! I’m Inès, a licensed guide and certified driver based in Marseille, Provence. When I’m not guiding, you might find me on a sunny terrace with a book or a friend, making music, diving in the Mediterranean, or setting off on a road trip. Before becoming a guide, I studied linguistics and literature and worked as a teacher and translator — curiosity and the need to communicate, interpret, and connect have always been at the core of who I am. Guiding came to me almost by accident, yet it quickly felt like an obvious choice. What I love most is connecting with people and shaping each day around their interests, rhythm and curiosity. My connection to Provence began in childhood, during my first trips with my mother to visit her best friend. I fell in love with its light, atmosphere, and warmth, and chose it as my home ten years ago. Today, as a licensed guide authorized to guide inside heritage monuments, I enjoy sharing both iconic highlights and quieter places, always with context, stories,s and local insight. I guide in English, French and Spanish, and offer experiences focused on culture, heritage, wine, landscapes, and local life. Tours are conducted in a comfortable, air-conditioned Mercedes van with seating for up to 8 passengers. I love guiding in a way that feels warm, thoughtful, and personal. I would be delighted to share with you the Provence I love — whether you have a few hours from a cruise ship or several days to explore more deeply. A beautifully paced private shore excursion combining iconic sights, coastal scenery, and leisure time by the sea. We begin in Marseille, France’s oldest city and a legendary Mediterranean port shaped by centuries of trade, migration, and contrasts. Through a panoramic drive with well-chosen stops, I’ll help you understand how the city’s history, geography, and daily life come together, sharing insights into its long past, its role as a Mediterranean gateway, and its unique local identity. Leaving the city behind, we head toward Cassis on a scenic drive through the Calanques National Park. In Cassis, you’ll have time to stroll around the harbour and enjoy the relaxed, colourful atmosphere of this small fishing village. An optional boat cruise allows you to discover this dramatic coastline from the sea (not included, weather permitting), with narrow limestone inlets, white cliffs, and turquoise waters. We then continue to Cap Canaille to enjoy breathtaking views from France’s highest sea cliffs.
Innes made everything easy and fun. I learned so much from her throughout the day and it never felt formal or rigid ... it was more like a conversation with a good friend. She is clearly an expert in the history and culture of Provence (and other places) and she is an excellent teacher. I feel very fortunate to have had Innes as a guide. I hope I will have the chance to have her show and teach me about other places in the South of France sometime down the road.

Ines was a great guide! Everything was easy to organise, she has a beautiful merc vito which she drives incredibly well (though many difficult to navigate roads) She has a tremendous knowledge the area, history, culture, architecture and many eclectic stories. She focused on our interests and made the whole journey interesting. She has a passion for conveying the information. Wecan highly recommend a trip with ines!
