Our tour of Marseille & Cassis was great. Kathy S. was a very knowledgeable & accommodating guide. Easy to understand & pleasant to talk with, she made the extra effort to arrange a nice treat for my wife's birthday. Would highly recommend!

Greetings from Marseille! One of the best features of my tours is the fact that I provide a driver (except for the 2-hour walking tour), a great advantage because time isn't spent looking for parking. We'll be dropped off and picked up as close to the points of interest as possible. The driver concentrates 100% on driving while I give the tour and answer your questions. Although I've lived in France for 38 years, I'm American, so you should have no difficulty understanding my English. Whether it's cultural and historic sites or simply shopping, I'll take you there! My name is Kathy. I grew up in Washington St. , spent many years in Santa Barbara and New York City and arrived in France in 1986. After having lived 20 years in Paris, I finally discovered Marseille, fell in love with the city and have been happy here ever since. I'm looking forward to touring Provence with you! Certificate, Technicienne d'accueil touristique option accompagnement, tour leader, in English. Internship at the tourist information office in Marseille.

Aix-en-Provence We'll get a look at its lively morning markets, then take a walking tour of the old town with its beautiful buildings and St. Sauveur Cathedral. Cassis You'll love the stunning views from one of the highest maritime cliffs in Europe overlooking the beautiful town of Cassis.

We can’t say enough great things about Kathy! She was absolutely spectacular. After having a disappointing tour guide the day before, we were so excited to spend the day with her—and she exceeded every expectation. She truly went above and beyond in every way. Her van was comfortable, spacious, and very easy to get in and out of, which was a huge plus. She customized the day around what we wanted to do and made everything effortless. We visited the beautiful town of Cassis, where she helped us purchase tickets for the boat tour and even brought us drinks to enjoy on the boat. She also recommended a wonderful restaurant, made our lunch reservations, and ensured everything went smoothly. Kathy speaks excellent English, is incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about her guests having the best experience possible. If you’re considering a tour, don’t hesitate to book with Kathy. We highly recommend her—you won’t be disappointed!
Kathy was very flexible with our group and communicated well before the day of the tour. Everyone had an excellent day with her and left with a great experience in the Marseille/Aix region.
Kathy was excellent. Well laid out itinerary and very flexible and knowledgeable. Highly recommended her!
What a lovely day we had with Kathy showing us Aix-En-Provence and Marseille! It was like meeting a good friend and asking her to show off the favorite parts of her hometown. It was a relaxed, yet informative day - this is why we so prefer private tours over what the ship offers - from walking through the markets in Aix, to a yummy crepe lunch and finishing the day at the most amazing church in Marseille and hearing about the history from Kathy - it was a wonderful way to end our Cruise! Kathy hires a trusted taxi driver for the day, so we get dropped off and picked up with no problem at all. Highly recommend!!!
6 of us signed up for a tour with Kathy. She was really awesome. She greeted us as we got off our cruise ship and returned us promptly back to our ship. Due to weather our original plan for the day had to be changed and she managed to entertain us for the day. She also made a reservation and agreed to join us (and entertain us further with her vast knowledge of the area) for a beautiful and delicious lunch. I would highly recommend her if you want to tour the Marseille area.
