Bienvenue en Provence ! My name is Olivier and I am based in La Ciotat, a charming beach resort close to the fishermen village of Cassis, nearby Marseille, Toulon and Aix en Provence. I started my adventure in the tourism industry as a freelance, conducting guided sightseeing tours in Provence and winery tours in the area. To date I have been guiding since 2015, providing a high standard of service and a unique experience to all my customers. I am an enthusiastic person and I love Provence, where I have lived for many years. As I provide visits of Cassis, Marseille, and Aix en Provence, I always take time to do stop to scenic viewpoints for dramatic views and interesting historical facts. Natural park of Luberon and surroundings of Avignon and Rhône valley are some of my favorite areas in northern Provence where I like to share good times there. Feedback and reviews of my customers describe me as a humorous, flexible and courteous person as well as a safe driver! I am trilingual native French and fluent English and Italian. Overview of your Marseille tour
You will be in awe when you first be beholding the Calanques! Along the marvelous Provençal seaside you will admire the best views of the blue Mediterranean sea and deep rocky inlets, close where I use to leave for more than 20 years! You will admire the amazing Calanque of Figuerolles in La Ciotat with its strange geologic shape. You will be amazed by the famous mountaintop road between La Ciotat and Cassis and its 360° amazing panoramas of the Mediterranean sea and Calanques of Cassis from the highest cliff of Europe - 1200 feet high! View the Cassis town's quaint 17th- and 18th-century houses along the way. The cool streets of the Old Town are brimming with character, and the village is known for the quality of its fish and other seafood (sea-urchins with Cassis white wine are a local delicacy). The old fishing port has become a popular seaside resort. Enjoy some free time in Cassis for some shopping -- arts and crafts merchants, boutiques and cafés fill the quays around the port area.
