My name is Sabrina. I was born and raised in Normandy. My family is an old Norman family and I spent all my life in Normandy. I studied in Caen University, Normandy. I studied English language, American and British history, history of arts and American and British literature. I have always had a passion for Normandy history as it is part of my own family history. My great grandfather fought both in World War I and in World War II. My grandmother told me stories about their lives in Normandy during World War II and the German occupation. I also discovered very early how rich is Norman culture. This is how my curiosity and passion for Normandy history started. I started to be a tour guide in 2007. This long experience really makes a difference! I am very happy to share my knowledge and my passion for Normandy with the whole world! I really want your experience in Normandy to be unforgettable! I have a degree to be a national lecturer tour guide. I have a bachelor's degree in English language, English and American civilization and litterature. I have an A level in history of arts and another one in work organization and management. I have a license to drive vehicles for more than 9 passengers. I have an official capacity to drive vehicles for public transportation. I have the governmental official ability to be a CEO for a transportation company, any size of vehicles, in any country. I am a national tour guide and lecturer so there aren't any restrictions on my tours. I am able to give guided tours anywhere, including in national monuments.

Walk in the footsteps of the brave Americans who liberated France and Europe through operation Overlord. This experience of the Normandy landing is not to be missed! On this tour, you will be visiting : -the American cemetery overlooking Omaha Beach. You will be given some free time to pay your respects. -Omaha Beach. You will hear about the ferocious battle. -Pointe du Hoc. you will hear how the brave Rangers captured the german long range guns. Here you will have the opportunity to visit the German bunkers, casemates, guns emplacements and command post. -Sainte Mère Eglise, where this famous paratrooper got snagged on top of the bell tower of the church. This stop is dedicated to the 82nd airborne division. -Utah Beach. The 4th infantry division captured this Beach. -Angoville Au Plain. The parish church was transformed into a field hospital by 2 American paratroopers. These are the stops but you will be able to see a lot of remains, sites and monuments from the vehicle.
Sabrina was fabulous. She was sooo knowledgeable and clearly had studied the history in depth. She was also very warm and kind, while also keeping us on track and on topic. She took us to a great place for lunch and also suggested a great place for dinner that night as well as a day trip for the next day. We learned so much and she also gave us contemplative time. I would do another your with her if ever in the neighborhood again.
Sabrina was the best Tours by Local guide we have ever had. In addition to her deep knowledge of D-Day and the D-Day sites, she also knows a great deal about older Normandy history, including all about William the Conqueror. But perhaps what I appreciated most was how she tailored the cruise to our specific interests, taking a longer or shorter time and various sites depending on our level of interest. And, once she gauged what our interests were, she added a "surprise" that, for us, was absolutely the highlight of the trip. (Spoiler alert: it was the church at Angoville where two parajumper medics saved the lives of 81 civilians and parajumpers, near the site of three days of the heaviest fighting inland from the beaches.) One note to the wise, though: if you can, do a two-day tour. We thought one day with a private guide would be enough, but it wasn't. Not even close.
Sabrina was fantastic! She was knowledgeable and very sweet and friendly. She was able to answer our many questions. Our tour was perfectly timed. I would recommend her to a friend!

We - a group of 6 - took the full day American D-Day tour with Sabrina and it was absolutely fabulous. Sabrina is a wealth of knowledge and really helped round out the knowledge we already had about that historic day. She was flexible and gave us some options about what we wanted to see, which was great. She also built in free time for us to wander around the various sites on our own. Her command of English is near perfect and she answered all our questions with even more details than we could have expected. This tour was a highlight of our three week visit to France.
