My name is Jhon, I was born and grown up in a small town named Buenavista, in Cordoba department that is located in the Caribbean region. My father and mother took care of me until I was 15 years old. Then, I moved to Cartagena to finish my secondary, after graduating I was enlisted in the army when I was 19 years old, at present I am 59. My family is big, I have eight brothers and two sisters, and we are all a live, I am very happy and give thanks my parents for everything they did for us, and God for his blessing.
After leaving for the army, I started working for an industrial company for 15 years, after I stop working in there, and studied tourism and I graduated as a professional tour guide. Today, I am 17 years of experiences as a local guide and national guide, since Cartagena is a privileged city of Colombia as a cruise ship destination, I enjoy leading travelers when they arrive in each season in my city. This is the job I was searching for my life and now, it became true.
I love Cartagena de Indias, it is my best city, its charms are magical, with its colonial houses, streets, walls, history, myths and legends but its friendly and nice people are spectacular sharing their culture with guests. As a local guide, I love so much this career, I have a lot experiences and knowledge of this activity, my attitude and my entire availability are parts of my job, I work with great enthusiasm, I always enjoy giving to my visitors the best of me when I lead them in my enchanting and magical city, I am well known as a local guide.
