I enjoy connecting with people, whether they're long-time friends or new acquaintances. As an outgoing person, I love exploring new things, including different cultures, languages, and cuisines. Meeting you would truly be a pleasure! I became a Licensed Guide after studying Tourism for a couple of years in Colombia's National Learning Service and I was privileged to study English for half a decade in the Colombo-American Institute. I’m passionate about my work and take pride in showcasing the beauty of my city, its rich culture, and its delicious gastronomy. As a local guide, I aim to make visitors feel at home, like they’re catching up with an old friend. I strive to be among the best because I know how much a memorable tour can enhance the experience of discovering a new place. My city is a warm and welcoming place, and I’d love to share it with you!!

On this tour we will explore the most beautiful squares, churches and streets of the walled city, and I'll even show you the materials used to make the city's walls. Prepare to travel back in time and uncover the history of Cartagena de Indias. We'll talk about the "Africans", the inquisition and the independence of Cartagena, but I'll also tell you some incredible pirate's stories from these lands! Together we will immerse ourselves in the rich culture and traditions that remain present in the city to this day! On a personal note, although my last name is Spanish, I am Carthaginian with African roots. In Cartagena, the population is a combination between indigenous, Africans, Spaniards and Portuguese.
·After gathering at the Clock Tower and discussing its magnificence, we’ll visit the main square to talk about Cartagena's foundation. ·We’ll then enjoy a panoramic view of the largest square ·Next, we’ll see the beautiful San Pedro Claver’s church and monument. ·Later, we’ll proceed to touch a monument with a interesting legend, we lovingly call the Fat Lady. ·Afterwards, we’ll go inside to the most beautiful and important cathedral in Cartegena. ·We'll then pass through Centennial Park and keep our eyes out for some local fauna! ·What follows will be an exploration of the Getsemaní neighbourhood. ·At last, I'll take you to a place where you'll learn a little bit about Colombia's mines.
