Hi my name is Jarmi , born and raised in Chile and have been a guide for the past 15 years in Chile and also Hawai'i. I started in Patagonia in my early 20s, I later traveled to the Hawaiian Islands where I had a small tour company for the next 9 years. I decided to move back to Chile and continue to be a guide here. I also offer several days tours to the south and north of Chile . We would travel in one vehicle no public transportation and stay at lodging where it's only us. I love our indigenous culture Mapuche that with all my travels throughout the years I have had the chance to work with them, learn their culture and be part of this new movement of local, indigenous experiences for guest from all over the world. I have specialized as a guide in the north, south and central part of the Chile. If you are into history, birds, wildlife, photography and a local experience I'm your guide! I went to school for film and arts and my passion is taking pics and making videos of my travels. I like to stay informed about all our latest news and know about the social movements in Chile, politics and more! Overview of your Valparaiso tour
We will meet at hotel or Valparaiso and drive to the small beach town called Renaca . We will sightsee and stroll down this small town very quiet and beautiful! I grew up here so I know the area very well. We will continue for about 40 mins to the small Fisherman town called ConCon , this area was populated by our indigenous groups that lived on fishing and gathering. There is an extended coastline that is beautiful to see the road drives all the way along the coast for about 40 mins We will also enjoy a local lunch with a variety of dishes, all typical recipes from our country and the best seafood, meats, and also vegetarian options. This town is known for its amazing fishing and long beach that connects with a local river bringing many sea birds to feed . Great opportunity for some bird watching! Birds is one of my specialties ! We will walk along the beach and see the local shops in the area . We will head back to your lodging in the evening.
Your Valparaiso tour itinerary
- Pickup at hotel or Valparaiso upon arrival am between 9 am and 12pm - We will head to Vina del Mar, we will stop for pics for about an hour walk and enjoy the beach walk - We shall continue for about 40 mins to the city of Con Con - Lunch at the Pearl of the Pacific - Visit the beach and sea birds - Take pics and return to lodging after. *If you have a specific itinerary in mind or if your group is bigger than 4 send me a message and I'll customize the tour for you
