Full day Valparaiso and Viña del Mar Coastal Cities

Valparaiso is perched among the hills which describe, through people and architecture, the past of one of the most magnificent harbors in the Heritage site by UNESCO, which resulted in a boom for tourism and culture. The Cultural Capital of Chile has been an important part of the country's history. It's a large bay with 45 hills around it that have naturally formed a spectacular amphitheater, the sea is the stage and each houses a seat with a panoramic view of the harbor. Its hills are characterized by their view points, promenades, steep stair and Narrow Street that if they had been formally designed they would not have the magic they have. As if this was not enough, the hills have funiculars, called elevator, that connect ordinary people, from the heights where they live, to the plan where business activity operates in the city. These funiculars were built since year 1883, today they are National Monuments, a many of them are still operating. Continue to the coast and visit the town of Viña del Mar.

We will meet you at Valparaiso Cruise Ship or Santiago Airport or Hotel Drive towards to Casablanca. Here we can make our first technical stop for restrooms, this place has local empanadas, chocolate and souvenir. Crossing Casa Blanca wine region you can take pictures and enjoy the view. Once we get to Viña del Mar we can visit a nice place call Reñaca, which is seaside resort. A good spot for photos is la Roca Oceanica (Oceanic Rok) where we can see some sea lions. In the way to Vaparaiso we will see old mansions where the richest families used to live. To get to know Valparaiso we have to take one or two funiculars in the way to the hills where you will enjoy interesting murals and graffitis. Valparaiso is one of the oldest harbor in the southern hemisphere so here you will find a big foreign influence that explain it"s architecture and many other details.
