Casablanca Wine Valley

We begin in casa blanca that has a unique condition to pruduce cold weather vines. Being at the foot of the Cordillera de la Costa, part of the plantations are located on slopes on granite soils in an advanced state of decomposition. While on the plane the soils are clay-silt-sandy. They are highly permeable soils of medium depth that, together with the cold influence of the ocean and its Mediterranean climate, generate an environment of slow maturation. This translates into fresh wines and balanced acidity, perfumed aromas and delicate flavors. If you are a wine lover this wine valley will leave you very satisfied not only for its famous wines but also for its local people, gastronomy and landscape.

We begin our tour from santiago or Valparaiso city taking the route 68, once we get to the central mountain range that is part of the transversal valleys where each one has it's own microclimate you will see the first town call curacavi if you start from santiago or Casa Balanca if you start from Valparaiso in both we can find excellent terroir and conditions for fruits and wines, in the case of Casa Blanca most of them are boutique vineyards and main vines are pinot noir, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, Syrah, among other. our first technical stop will be in a empanada factory to be ready for the wine tasting. you will enjoy this route of the wines where we gonna have the visit to Emiliana Organic wines and then we will visit one of the best typical restaurant to enjoy the chilean cuisine and after lunch we visit another boutique winerie where you can do a wine tasting in Bodegas RE winerie or Casas del Bosque wineyard this is a famous chilean wine producers.
