Overview of your Halifax tour
Embark on a journey of Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley on a private tour just outside Halifax. As I strive for in all of my tours, I want to provide you with an unforgettable experience, and a chance to explore exquisite wineries with expert guidance. I'd be happy to accommodate your favorite kinds of wine for your tastings & make sure to bring you to the best places to do so. However if wine isn't your preference, I could adapt to your personal taste & take you to a local brewery, cidery or distillery instead! Just let me know & I'd be happy to customize this tour. The wineries in the Annapolis Valley are incredible though: they offer a delicious, personal experience & stunning views. They've actually won national & international awards. On this tour, you'll learn of - & taste! - the only wine appellation in North America, Tidal Bay. I'd love to guide you exploring a vineyard, providing you an in-depth breakdown of Nova Scotia's growing season, & take lovely photos of you to commemorate your visit.
Your Halifax tour itinerary
-I will pick you up at our pre-determined location and head to the first of the 3 wineries we'll be visiting. -As we drive on, I will contextualize you on some of Nova Scotia's history & culture, and you'll even be able to get a glimpse of the highest tides in the world along our route! -On arrival to our first winery, you'll enjoy a tasting of 3 wines. -After the tasting, I will take you on a guided visit to the vineyard, but of course you'll have time to explore on your own. -At our second stop, you will be able to enjoy a leisurely lunch, accompanied by a glass of wine or further variety at your request, of course. -Then at our third winery, you'll have a third tasting of 3 more wines, and again have the option of being led on a guided visit by me or simply opt to walk around freely. -And to end the day, we will depart back to Halifax for the end of our tour, where you'll be dropped off at an agreed location.
