Welcome to Halifax, Nova Scotia, the place I call home. While you are visiting, I hope it will be your home too. Halifax has a rich heritage and culture which I am sure you will enjoy. I look forward to sharing and exploring Halifax with you! To see my latest work in Halifax conservation see this video: https://youtu. be/JlnbQS5YZTM I have over ten years of guiding experience and my degree in Classics. I am sure by the end of the tour you will gain a better understanding of Halifax's history and culture. We will discover Halifax's downtown connection to the Titanic, military and much more. I specialize in walking tours. However, on specific request case basis I can book a vehicle for tours. There is so much to offer and enjoy in Atlantic Canada's largest city. So come and enjoy home away from home with me. I have my Bachelor of Arts Degree from St. Mary's University. I majored in Classics and a double minor in Cultural/Urban Geography as well as History. My work experience includes six years at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic as a Interpreter Guide. I dedicate much of my spare time to advocating heritage in Halifax and promoting my historic neighbourhood of Schmidt's Ville. I am also recipient of the Heritage Trust of Nova Scotia Award for Excellence in Heritage Preservation, 2024. My tours are walking tours. Vehicles are by request and include a professional driver and myself. Please inform of mobility issues and space needs. Vehicle requests have extra cost. Please wear proper footwear. Please contact for other special needs.

Walk through Halifax's first suburbs and learn how the city has become the center of Nova Scotia. The tour covers 200 years of history and culture. Learn about Halifax Citizen George Wright who was a victim of the Titanic disaster. This part of Halifax has been my home all my life and I have to say it is the best part of the city to live, work and play. I want visitors to walk away with the same level of appreciation for the area as I do.
