Overview of your Halifax tour
This is a great tour for those who have a variety of different interests and wish to explore Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley and Bay of Fundy regions. First, you will get to visit the iconic fishing village of Halls Harbour, along the shores of the "Bay of Fundy". People here have made their living by the sea for almost 200 years and continue to do so today. Afterward, you will spend the remainder of your day in the romantic and timeless town of Grand Pre, the ancestral homeland of the French Acadian people who settled in Nova Scotia in the early 1600s. In Grand Pre, you will spend some time at one of the areas most popular wineries, "Luckett Vineyards" followed by a visit to the "Grand Pre National Historical Site". The tour is completely customizable to your specific interests so if you would like to make some changes, please feel free to contact me and I will do my best to accommodate you. *All times approximate. The exact schedule is dependent on the actual time of departure. 9:00 AM - Pick up at your point of departure. Tour begins. 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM: Halifax to Halls Harbour (1-hour stay) 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Halls Harbour to Grand Pre 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM: Luckett Vineyard (lunch and wine tasting) 1:45 PM - 3:30 PM: Grand Pre Historical Site 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM: Grand Pre to Halifax Your tour finishes and you are then taken back to your hotel or cruise ship pier in Halifax.
